We are a family with many nurses. The concept of our store came from our daughter Megan who was a nursing student at the time. Megan and her friends were finding that access to uniform stores in the area was difficult due to their locations and hours of operation. They also wanted a better shopping experience. Richard, Megan’s dad, was looking for a new business venture.
After doing a uniform survey of nurses and students from various programs, much research of the various brands of uniforms, looking into the business side of becoming a retailer and the determination that there was a need for another uniform store in the Ottawa area…Scrubs for Them was founded.
The concept for Scrubs for Them was to have a boutique style store in a mall that was Central and easily accessible by bus and by car. Westgate Shopping Centre was determined to be the best location. After our 1st year in business, we decided to move to a much larger store within the same mall to serve our customers better.
Our Mission
We aim to satisfy all of our clients regardless of their sex, age, size, taste and budget. We want to cater to our health care providers and all other professionals that want to look and feel good while at work or play. We will strive to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable shopping experience by providing excellent service in a bright, modern and comfortable environment.
